Pastor's Corner from June 17, 2017
“And the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.”
This weekend we celebrate the presence of the Lord in the Eucharist. May all of us recapture the feeling of wonder evident in the children who recently received their First Holy Communion. Let our “Amen” at the rite of communion signify a deep appreciation of the Lord’s presence and love in our lives. Through our celebration of the Eucharist the Church becomes the living sign of Christ’s presence in the community. We are there like the Bread of Heaven “For the life of the world”.
Every blessing to all our graduates, especially those who graduated last week from Holy Family School.
Join me in saying farewell to Fr. Alex (Sunday, 6/18 after all the Masses) and Fr. Bjorn (6/25 after the 10:30 AM Mass)
