Confirmation

“Be sealed with the Gift of the Holy Spirit.”
Confirmation, considered to be the second of the Sacraments of Initiation, is often celebrated last in the United States for Catholics baptized as children.   It is never too late to receive the Grace of this important Sacrament.

  • Baptized Catholic children from 12 years old to age 16 (typically 7th to 11th grade), who have already received First Holy Communion, are eligible to enter the parish’s two year Confirmation program. These Confirmation classes are offered on Tuesdays 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  Candidate for Confirmation 2019 Handbook
  • Baptized Catholic adults (17 years old and older) would enroll in the Adult Confirmation and Eucharist Class. This class is offered on Sundays 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. in English and 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in Spanish
  • Unbaptized children and adults (7 years and older) or those validly baptized in another non-Catholic Chrisitan community would enroll into either the Rite of Christian Initiation for Children (RCIC) or the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA). RCIA is offered on Sundays 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. in English and 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in Spanish.  RCIC is offered on Thursdays 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
